Hydraulic level cut clamshells

This type of grab is specially designed for dredging of sludge. Because the grab will close almost horizontally it is possible to remove sludge from the bottom very accurately.

Advantages of this grab compared to a conventional grab:
- Bigger excavating
- Closing horizontally
- Low turbulence by lifting the grab
- The grab is executed with fully enclosed shells and drainage valves.

Optional is to put a digital positioning system to the grab and the crane, with a possible connection to a GPS system.

The grabs are manufactured of high wear resistant steel.
